Some economy, eh? Doesn't it really feel like something basic has changed? No more McMansions, less fluff, less buying of pretty stuff with little or no longterm or innate value... Value and values. It feels like we're returning to an earlier time. People, boat buyers are looking for value and quality - not fluff. Instead of a 5000 sqare foot house that needs to be heated, painted, cleaned people are opting for more modest homes but, studies show, with more quality. Better construction, etc. We think that alloy boats represent something quite similar... A boat that will last a lifetime (or two!), require no maintenance, run on less fuel. Value and integrity.
