3-9-05 Yarmouth, Maine:
I was out by myself on the water this afternoon with snow covering the deck, wind out of the Northwest at a steady 20 - gusting to 35 - with seas @ 4' and I was talking on my cell phone with a Native leader in northern Quebec. The windshield was frozen solid. I couldn't feel my fingers. The sky was that particular windex blue one sees in the winter after a coldfront passage and I thought.....Blog!
I am fortunate enough to have a career that I thoroughly enjoy. I can't wait to get to work in the morning. My days fly by and the weekend is here before I know it. Our customers, by and large, are incredibly nice and a pleasure to do business with. I thought that a blog about our customers, our boats, our business might be sort of fun to follow - so for at least a bit I will be making regular postings in this space on the comings and goings around Black Lab. I hope you find something here useful and/or enjoyable...
