Just returned from the Hunting and Fishing Expo in Worcester, MA. The show was suggested by one of our customers "codfisher". When we arrived with the boat the hall was filled with bass boats like Skeeter and Nitro. I thought that George had made a mistake..."This isn't our market" I thought...hmmm....couple of thousand valuable marketing dollars wasted and a weekend away from the family...

I was completely wrong! We met and saw more serious saltwater fishermen than at some of the boat shows we do at more coastal locations. Had a great show. Thank you, George.

Additionally, we had two customers who volunteered to come to the show and spend their time speaking with interested attendees at the show. George and Jim...thank you. Your help was invaluable. People so enjoyed speaking with actual owners who had spent their own money on one of our boats and who have actually used the boats in real world conditions. Again, thank you.

Further thoughts and developments...

Recent buyers from Lake Erie and Martha's Vineyard. The gent from Lake Erie drove over for a demo ride on Super Bowl Sunday and the two of us spent a few hours out on the cold North Atlantic in a sloppy sea and dense fog. We went around the bay and then poked outside a mile or two offshore in dishwasher, lumpy-gravy seas - great time!

Just completed a new design for a completely new walkaround wheelhouse. Instead of our current offering with an open aft bulkhead, the new cabin will have two sliding side doors next to the two helm seats, an enclosed back bulkhead with a forward facing bench seat and be 7' long. It will feature a standard head! (A first for us). This new cabin's front and roof (although not 7' long) will, most likely, be available as a new wider 3/4 hardtop with more (wider) weather protection.

Lastly, we now have a standard livewell option. A 30 gallon fiberglass livewell with underdeck plumbing is now available to go just aft of either the new walkaround cabin or behind the leaning post on any boat.

Spring is coming! As always - order your boat as soon as possible for summer delivery!
